Manormani Govender completed her arangratram under the renowned guru Srimathi Indra Rajan of Vadhini Natyala , Chennai in 1973 which she is
thankful to her late mum Mrs. Dhanum Moodley a Tamil teacher, actress and singer and co-owner of Padmani Music Centre.
Her academy has produced a number of notable dancers over the years that have gone onto opening schools in Durban and Johannesburg.
Some of her highlights she is well known for is her dance on the clay pot, the dance graduation of a nearly blind Kumari Asothi Moodley.
Assisted in a dance item called Love is my Form for Swami Sathya Sai Baba’s 73rd birthday and in 2009 Ladies Day, choreographed dance
programme called Children of Africa performed in Swamis presence.
